The sun arose over the hilltop and revealed a lone silhouette standing atop of it, the impressive figure of Thor Skullcrusher standing alone clad in his Obsidian Armor. The king of this war ravaged country had charged him with defending this particular piece of land from the impending invasion of the enemy force. Thinking back to when the king gave him this duty, Thor asked how many troops he would be given to carry out this task. The king replied, “none because all of the available men are fighting on the other fronts….you’re the best warrior that I know Thor, you must find a way to defeat or drive off the invading force”. And with that Thor sent every messenger he could find to search the entire country side for Heroes of all sorts to come and aid him with the impossible task that was approaching rapidly.

We are looking for others that continue to enjoy and play the game. We know everyone is anxiously awaiting GW2 release, and falling over every bit of information that Anet lets us see. In the meantime we at SOR are still actively playing GW and enjoying the company of the many friends we have made.

We are primarily a PvE Luxon Guild although we do enjoy SORway in AB, and have ventured into HA and GvG from time to time. We do FoW clears, Urgoz from time to time, Z Bounties and Missions, and have 2 regular scheduled nights for HM Dungeons. Our roster currently is 80 with over half being on in the last week. We do not do a lot of recruiting, those that join us - and enjoy our sometimes off the wall and way off topic chat - tend to stick with us.

We have several well advanced members. If you are title hunting, need help for a particular pesky mission, or just some company, just ask. We have a lot of resources to help you both within the guild and in the alliance. We are members of the Noble Honor Alliance (www.noblehonor.com) We are looking for mature, (that’s a mindset not a number) fun and friendly members. Your gaming experience is not a factor.

You will find the most company from about 4pm EST to 2am EST. We have no faction requirements, we ask only that you be active, friendly, don't beg... the usual...

Our members: We are diverse with all levels of experience, backgrounds and interests.

Our camaraderie: Some of us have been playing together for all of the almost 5 years we have been in existence. We celebrate each others successes, and commiserate about our failures, both in GW and life.

Our Experience: We have many players with all levels of experience. We even have a couple of Gods that enjoy coming down from the heavens and mixing it up with us little people..

And so it was, from that day forward, Shadows of Ravenloft defended their realm and journeyed both near and far to aid people who needed their help, and to lend their abilities to kings and other “guilds” to win the day, and also to kill the hated Kurzicks. Shadows of Ravenloft became known as a force to be reckoned with, and the mere mention of the name would send foes fleeing in fear for their lives. They joined forces with an alliance of guilds led by Noble Honor to make their ranks even stronger. Together with the guilds in this alliance they continue to cleanse the country side of evil, continually defeating the Kurzicks in battle, and even slayed the dreaded Rotscale. The ranks of the Shadows of Ravenloft have been formed, but they continue to grow and some of the guildies move on or fall in battle but the heart and core of the guild remains. Led by Thor and the officers he promotes. Shadows of Ravenloft to this day stand ready for the next challenge. LONG LIVE THE SHADOWS OF RAVENLOFT!
